In the age of the Internet and email, handwritten notes are in danger of becoming a lost art. When a gift is bestowed, it is important to recognize the thoughtfulness of the giver with a short note of appreciation. Yes, I admit that I am a horrible at writing thank you notes. However, I am reminded of the importance when I receive a sweet little note in the mail. There is something so special about getting something personal other than that junk mail.
